DESCRIPTION:The IAFS is a worldwide association of academics and practicing professionals from several disciplines in forensic science\, that include: \n\nForensic pathologists and death investigators\nForensic scientists\nProfessionals working in police\, government or private forensic laboratories dealing with fingerprints\, DNA\, drug analysis\, toxicology\, firearms\, documents\, trace evidence\, accident reconstruction\, etc.\nOther branches of forensic science\, such as forensic psychiatry\, forensic anthropology\, medical law and bioethics\, forensic odontology\, forensic scientific research\, etc.\n\nThe IAFS encompasses academics and practicing professionals in the forensic specialties. Since 1957\, the IAFS has delivered an international meeting every three years to allow the forensic community to meet and exchange ideas. In 2023 from 20 November until 24 November the IAFS\, in conjunction with the ANZFSS\, will host the 23rd Triennial meeting in the newly revamped International Convention Centre in Sydney\, Australia.
